"Moments like candle shall I burn,
an eternal memory of life I yearn,
for these moments of sadness I shain't let stay,
let these events of madness pass too this way.
My heart can't bear this weight I know,
so shall it burn afore tomorrow,
and let me find my rest and peace,
in the ashes of tears not of joy,
and emerge again not as a phoenix for I am not as grand,
but as a stone unmarked by sand.
Let me move and tumble as I go,
searching for friends of golden heart and friendly woes,
and let me find loves embrace
in a fiery heart, with little mind for face.
So let these burdens fall in time,
the wax of ages a momentary

I strive to be an Artist. Some may not call me one, simply because I lack in doing visual arts...but to me;
A writer is so much more than an artist in my mind. Not because writing is more or less difficult than creating a masterpiece of clay or oil and canvas, but because a writer creates a masterpiece in your mind and takes you places no one else ever can. They take a seemingly simple concept or idea and make it something that has so much more meaning and depth than you ever dreamed. A truly great writer will take an idea, shape it to their will, and use it to leave a lasting and permanent mark on who you are. For me, writers have a much greater impact on me than any painter or sculptor.
